By visiting our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website.

1. About Starscent
Starscent is an Australian fragrance brand offering:
- Candles
- Diffusers
- Room Sprays
- Car Scents
- Samples
- Gift Sets
- Event and bulk orders
Our products are intended for personal use only unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Due to the handmade and small-batch nature of our products, variations in colour, scent intensity, and appearance may occur and do not constitute defects.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or guardian to place orders through our website.
3. Orders & Acceptance
Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase.
Starscent reserves the right to accept, reject, or cancel any order for any reason including product availability, pricing errors, or suspected misuse.
If an order is cancelled, any payment received will be refunded using the original payment method.
4. Pricing & Payment
All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
Payment must be completed at checkout using approved payment providers.
Starscent may update pricing at any time without notice.
Promotional offers and discount codes:
- Cannot be exchanged for cash
- May not be combined unless stated
- Are limited to one per order
5. Shipping & Delivery
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide only.
Once dispatched, responsibility transfers to the courier. Starscent is not liable for delays, lost parcels, or courier-related issues, however we will assist with investigations where possible.
Customers are responsible for ensuring shipping details are accurate. Additional fees may apply for re-delivery.
6. Returns & Refunds
Due to hygiene and safety reasons, Starscent does not accept change-of-mind returns on:
- Candles
- Diffusers
- Room Sprays
- Car Scents
- Samples
- Gift Sets
Refunds or replacements are only provided where items are faulty or damaged in transit.
Claims must be lodged within 48 hours of delivery with photo evidence.
Custom and event orders are non-refundable once production has commenced.
These policies operate in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
7. Product Safety
Candles
Never leave burning candles unattended. Keep away from children, pets, and flammable materials. Always use on a heat-resistant surface and follow care instructions provided.
Diffusers, Room Sprays & Car Scents
For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Do not ingest. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
Starscent is not responsible for damage or injury caused by misuse of products.
8. Allergies & Sensitivities
Our products contain fragrance oils that may cause reactions.
Customers are responsible for reviewing product information prior to purchase. Starscent is not liable for allergic reactions.
Samples are recommended before purchasing full-size products.
9. Event & Custom Orders
Event, bulk, or personalised orders may require deposits and extended production times.
Deposits are non-refundable.
Once production begins, cancellations are not accepted.
10. Accounts
If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your login details.
Starscent may suspend or terminate accounts for misuse or breach of these Terms.
11. Website Use
You agree not to:
- Misuse or interfere with the website
- Attempt unauthorised access
- Upload malicious content
- Copy or reproduce Starscent content
- Use the website for unlawful purposes
12. Intellectual Property
All website content including branding, images, text, and designs belong to Starscent.
No content may be copied or used without written permission.
13. User Content
Reviews or feedback submitted may be moderated or removed.
By submitting content, you grant Starscent permission to use it for marketing or operational purposes.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Starscent is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from website use or product purchase.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to replacement or refund of the affected product.
