At Starscent, we aim to process and deliver your order as quickly and safely as possible.

This Shipping Policy outlines how we handle order processing, dispatch, and delivery.


1. Order Processing

Orders are processed within 1–3 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays).

During peak periods (sales, holidays, promotional events, or new product launches), processing times may be extended.

Custom, personalised, or event orders may require additional production time. Estimated timeframes will be communicated where applicable.


2. Shipping Locations

Starscent currently ships Australia-wide.

If you require international shipping, please contact us prior to placing your order.


3. Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:

  • Delivery location
  • Order weight
  • Courier rates

All shipping charges are displayed before payment is completed.

Starscent reserves the right to update shipping rates at any time.


4. Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery times after dispatch:

  • Metro areas: 2–6 business days
  • Regional areas: 3–10 business days

Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Starscent is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Courier services
  • Weather events
  • Peak shipping periods
  • Incorrect delivery details
  • Circumstances outside our control


5. Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking email.

Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking updates to appear.


6. Incorrect Address Details

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information at checkout.

If an incorrect address is provided:

  • Starscent is not liable for lost or misdelivered parcels
  • Re-delivery or redirection fees may apply
  • Returned parcels may incur additional postage costs before re-shipment


7. Authority to Leave (ATL)

If you select Authority to Leave:

  • You accept responsibility once the parcel is delivered
  • Starscent is not liable for loss, theft, or damage after delivery

If signature on delivery is required, please ensure someone is available at the delivery address.


8. Damaged or Lost Parcels

If your parcel arrives damaged:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  • Provide clear photos of packaging and products

If a parcel is lost in transit:

  • We will lodge an investigation with the courier
  • Replacement or refund will be assessed once the courier investigation is completed

Starscent does not automatically replace parcels marked as delivered by the courier.


9. Shipping Restrictions (Flammable Products)

Certain products (such as room sprays and diffusers) may be classified as flammable and subject to courier restrictions.

These products:

  • May not be eligible for express shipping
  • May not be deliverable to PO Boxes

Starscent reserves the right to adjust shipping methods where required to comply with transport regulations.


10. Delayed or Returned Shipments

If a parcel is returned to us due to:

  • Incorrect address
  • Failed delivery attempts
  • Unclaimed parcels

The customer may be required to pay additional shipping fees before re-dispatch.
